Anadyr is a port town and the administrative center of Chukotka Autonomous Okrug, Russia, located at the mouth of the Anadyr River, on the tip of the southern promontory that protrudes into Anadyrsky Liman. Anadyr is the easternmost town in Russia (more easterly locations, such as Provideniya and Uelen, do not have town status).
