William Christie (Conductor, Harpsichord). Born: December 19, 1944 - Buffalo, New York, USA. The American harpsichordist, conductor, musicologist and teacher, William Lincoln Christie, studied art history at Harvard University (where he was briefly assistant conductorof the Harvard Glee Club) and music at Yale University. He moved to France in 1971, where he became known for his interpretations of Baroque music, particularly French Baroque music, working with René Jacobs and others.
French soprano Natalie Pérez studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London under the tutelage of John Evans. She then joins the Atelier Lyrique of Opera Fuoco (founded by David Stern) and was a repeat prizewinner in the Internationaler Gesangswettbewerb at the Kammeroper Schloss Rheinsberg.
Soprano allemande Natasha Schnura étudié à l’Université de Musique Karlsruhe avec Prof.Donald Litaker et à Yale University avec Prof. James Taylor. ... Schnur chante régulièrement avec le Vocalensemble Rastatt, par exemple au Rheingau Festival et au Festspielhaus Baden-Baden. Récemment elle a fait ses débuts à Lincoln Center donnant la première de This Love Between Us de Reena Esmail.
The French mezzo-soprano, Eva Zaïcik, stuidied at Lycée Eugène Delacroix in Maisons-Alfort (Class of 2005). She began her vocal studies in the Maîtrise de Notre Dame de Paris. She then, in 2011, joined the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris (CNSMDP), in the class of Elène Golgevit. Meanwhile, she had the opportunity to work with great masters such as Anne Le Bozec, Margreet Hönig, Janina Baechle, Kenneth Weiss or René Jacobs.
Winner of the 2016 Simon Sandbach Award from Garsington Opera, tenor James Way is currently studying at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama where he learns with Susan Waters and is supported by the Guildhall Trust, Sheila White Bequest, Drake Calleja Trust, Mario Lanza Foundation, Countess of Munster Trust and the Behrens Foundation. He recently made his BBC Proms debut at the Last Night of the Proms as a soloist in Vaughan Williams Serenade to Music with Sakari Oramo and the BBC Symphony Orchestra. James was winner of the 'most promising singer award' at the 2016 Dean and Chadlington Singing Competition, a finalist in the 2015 Maureen Lehane Vocal Awards at the Wigmore Hall and a 2013/14 Britten-Pears Young Artist.
Born in Barcelona in 1988, he began studying the ‘cello, piano and singing at the Escolania de Montserrat, and then continued at the Barcelona Music School. He graduated from the ESMUC, specialising in choir conducting (2010) and classical singing (2012), with Josep Vila and Johan Duijck, and Mireia Pintó respectively.
Padraic Rowan (bass-baritone) - Twenty-seven year old Padraic Rowan first completed a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations, before graduating from the Royal Irish Academy of Music in 2013 with a Masters in Music Performance, studying with Mary Brennan and Brenda Hurley (répétiteur). He is currently a member of the Oper Stuttgart Opera Studio in Germany and studies with Robert Dean in London.
