Your excursion begins when your tour guide escorts you to the historical centre of the city. As you make your journey through Kazan's millennial past, along the historical streets of Kazan, where the ‘east meets west, you can discover some of the city’s incredible historic monuments, and experience Kazan as the city where ‘All Worlds Come Together’.

Meet your guide in the city centre to start your tour.

Your tour guide will lead you to one of the first universities in Russia, Kazan State University, then you will continue to the old Tatar Settlement to explore its many cathedrals and mosques, including the first Mosque of Mardjany. After which, your guide will lead you to Peter and Paul’s Cathedral to marvel at its distinctive grandeur design, and learn more about religion in Kazan. 

You will walk around the Liberty Square - the main square of Kazan - and see beautiful Opera and Ballet Theatre. Before your tour concludes, you will walk along the embankment of the Kazanka River and Kaban Lake, and admire the awe-inspiring views surrounding Kazan.

You will be delighted with the beauty of the architecture and mesmerized by fascinating stories that our professional tour guide will tell you. The route will allow you a brief stop to take some memorable photographs.

The Old Tatar Quarter (“Staro-Tatarskaya Sloboda”) is the soul of the historical part of Kazan.
