Combined tour: Panoramic city tour + tour to Akademgorodok

Your tour begins with your guide leading you to explore the only scientific town in Russia, where all the fields of science are represented. During your visit, you will learn about the town history, and discover another intriguing aspect of Soviet history. 

After exploring and admiring the magnificent atmosphere around you, proceed to explore two museums of your choice. Your options include the Geology Museum, the Archaeological Museum, or the Open Air Train Museum with its vast collection of vintage Trans-Siberian trains. Before heading back to the city, you will have a chance to explore the magnificent shores of the largest manmade lake in Siberia, the Novosibirsk Reservoir. 

Continue heading back to the heart of Novosibirsk to discover some of the city’s treasured sights and landmarks. Along the way, the cultural vigour of the city becomes apparent, displayed in its collection of art galleries and museums, one of which you will have the opportunity to explore. 

As a city built for the Trans-Siberian railway, it’s perfect to take a trip to the Novosibirsk Railway Station, the largest station on the entire Trans-Siberian railway. On the route you and your local guide will proceed to Krasny Prospect Street and then to Lenin Square, to see the Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet theatre and then to Gorkogo Street, following to the St Nicolas Chapel, the Ob River embankment, and finally you will visit the Siberian farm market to discover an array of Siberian delicacies.

After your tour concludes, your guide will accompany you back to your hotel.
