Natalia Mordashova (Musical Preparation)

Born in Samara. Graduated from the Leningrad State Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatoire in 1978.
Has been with the Mariinsky Theatre since 1993. Has been involved in the staging of many productions including Mozart?s Don Giovanni (directed by Johannes Schaaf, 1999), Les Contes d?Hoffmann (directed by Marta Domingo, 2000), The Legend of the Invisible City of Kitezh and the Maiden Fevronia (directed by Dmitry Chernyakov, 2001), Cosi fan tutte (directed by Walter Le Moli, 2002) and Samson et Dalila (directed by Charles Roubaud, 2003).

Has performed in concerts with Russian and foreign singers. Has been the accompanist at international competitions and has toured in Russia and abroad. Was involved in the international production of Prokofiev?s opera Maddalena at Rome?s Santa Cecilia in 1997, as well as a joint production by the Mariinsky Theatre and the Salzburg Festival of Shostakovich?s Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk (July 2001).
