Overview

First of all Anna Karenina is a book about marriage and about morals. It is also a story about relationship of the personality and society. It was interesting to me to keep up with psychology of heroes and to do so that the audience in the hall understood why each of them makes this or that decision. In the ballet Rachmaninov and Lutoslawski's music sounds. Tchaikovsky was the first idea, of course, but his works were so often used in the ballet that I decided to look for other paints. I wanted that Anna had own voice – and the piano became this voice.
