The Tunisian national football team represents Tunisia at international matches and football tournaments. Also known by the nickname Les Aigles de Carthage (The Eagles of Carthage or The Carthage Eagles). The managing organization is the Tunisian Football Federation. The first World Cup for Tunisia was in 1978 in Argentina. They became the first African team to win the match at the world championships, beating Mexico 3: 1 in Rosario.

The coach: Nabil Maaloul

Nabil Maaloul (born 25 July 1962), is a former footballer who was capped 74 times for his native country and participated in 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul .Most of his career he played for his home club, ES Tunis and won with it a historic treble as a coach in 2011 (League, Cup and CAF Champions League) and he is currently the coach of Tunisia.
