Born October 25, 1938 in Old Crimea, the Crimean Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, RSFSR.
 
Composer.
Honored Artist of the RSFSR (15.03.1985).
 
In 1964 he graduated from the Tashkent Conservatory composition class BI Zeydman; then - graduate of the Moscow State Conservatory. Tchaikovsky (class of Professor S. Balasanyan). In 1964-1968 - lecturer of composition of the Tashkent Conservatory, 1968 - Musical and Pedagogical Institute in Rostov-on-Don, Rostov Conservatory professor. Rachmaninoff.
Conducted master classes in Germany, Scotland, Italy (Chairman of the jury of composers in the cities of Bologna, Fiuggi, Kastrogari and Ketti).

ballet "The Quiet Don" based on Sholokhov's novel;
Opera - "Gypsy" based on the novel by Anatoly Kalinin and "Drama on the hunt" for AP Chekhov;
