        Prize-winner at the International Toti dal Monte Competition (Treviso, Italy, 1993). 

Studied at the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatoire (1991–1993). Subsequently studied in Italy (1993–1997). Trainee at Milan?s La Scala for two years (1997–1999). 

Soloist with the Mariinsky Academy of Young Singers since 1999. In his repertoire there are more than 20 opera parts. In summer 2006 he performed as Baburov in the Mariinsky Theatre's production of Moscow, Cheryomushki at the ХIV International Stars of the White Nights Festival at the St Petersburg State Operetta.
