Day 1: St.Petersburg

The Private Grandiose Tour of St Petersburg offers you a unique opportunity to see fascinating beauty and rich culture of the city, which will make your stay here a unique and memorable one. Experience the cultural highlights together with our knowledgeable and experienced guide from the comfort of a car or a mini van. Admire the golden dome of St Isaac’s Cathedral, which dominates the St Petersburg skyline. Adore the royal geometry of Palace Square, five-domed fabulous Church on the Spilled Blood, St Petersburg’s most elaborate church, and the Peter & Paul Fortress and the Cathedral, where the Romanovs are buried. You will swoon at the panoramic views from atop the fortress walls, at the foot of which lies a sandy riverside beach.

After lunch at one of the best restaurants you will have 2-hour guided excursion in the astonishing State Hermitage Museum. Mainly set in the magnificent Winter Palace and adjoining buildings, the Hermitage fully lives up to its amazing reputation. You can be absorbed by its treasures for days and still come out wanting more. The enormous collection (over three million items, only a fraction of which are on display in around 360 rooms) almost amounts to a comprehensive history of Western European art. Viewing it demands a planning, so our expert-guide will show you all the great masterpieces of the world's art at a glance in several hours.
Day 2: Pushkin and Peterhof

After pickup from your hotel in St Petersburg, your guide will take you to Tsarskoe Selo, the most grandiose summer residence in all of Russia. Admire the vast baroque Catherine Palace, a real pearl among the summer residences of the Romanovs and a UNESCO site. The interiors are superb, with highlights including the Great Hall, the Arabesque Hall, the baroque Cavalier's Dining Room, the White State Dining Room, the Crimson and Green Pilaster Rooms, the Portrait Hall and of course the world-famous Amber Room, where the whole surface of the walls is covered with natural amber. Our experienced guide will give detailed explanation of what you'll see in each room. Besides the palace, the guide will take you around the royal Catherine’s park. Close to the palace you will have a tasty lunch in a restaurant.

In the afternoon you will visit one of St. Petersburg's most famous and popular visitor attractions, the amazing palace and park at Peterhof, which are often referred to as "the Russian Versaille". Hugging the Gulf of Finland, 29km west of St Petersburg, Peterhof is really gem of the environs of the city. The astonishing buildings are surrounded by leafy gardens and a spectacular ensemble of gravity-powered gilded fountains, including 4 cascades. The Grand Cascade is the greatest fountain complex in the world. The ensemble of the Grand palace and parks of Peterhof is a great monument famous all over the world as "the fountain capital", which is worth seeing! After exploring the Peterhof, return to your minivan and travel back to your hotel where your tour ends.
