Cherskogo rock

The Stone of Chersky is a place where you can embrace at least a piece of the immense Baikal. This is an observation deck, which is in the mountains, over Listvyanka.

The Chersky stone is located at a low altitude - only 728 meters above sea level. The mountain is named in honor of Jan Dominik Chersky - a Polish patriot exiled to Siberia and become the will of fate by the famous explorer of Lake Baikal. Ostensibly on this mountain sat Jan Chersky and admired Baikal.
Beauty from the observation deck opens indescribable: Listvyanka, Port Baikal, the source of the Angara, Khamar-Daban in the blue haze and the Baikal skyline, merging with the sky. You can see the Shaman-stone and the train going along the ancient railway!
Upstairs you will take a chair lift, which works both in winter and summer. Moreover, in winter you can combine a walk on the Chersky Stone with snowboarding or downhill skiing. The lift serves the ski slope. In addition, in winter in the vicinity of the Stone of Chersky you can ride on tubas and ice caps from the hill!
And after admiring the Baikal landscapes, we recommend you to have tea and a snack in the cafe. It is here next to the right of the lift.
