RESERVATION POLICIES
Reservations and Payments By placing your reservation on this website www.uVisitRussia.com and using our Online Reservation Service you indicate that you have read, understand and agree with our Reservation and Cancellation Policies. We reserve the right to request you to provide a written or oral authorization of your purchase. In event such authorization has been requested and you failed to provide it we reserve the right to cancel your order with the full refund. Full payment is due for all package components (for example, hotel, transfer, excursions, event reservations) at time of booking. All prices are quoted in US dollars. Changes Once an itinerary is confirmed, any changes made from 60 to 90 days before the departure date will incur an additional fee of US$25 per person. Changes made 59 days or less before the departure date will incur an additional US$50 per person fee. Cancellations and refunds Cut-off date for cancellations is 30 days before the departure date. All cancellation requests must be submitted to cancel@uVisitRussia.com . A no-show is considered as a cancellation without any refund. Cancellation fee depends on the cancellation date, as follows: Visa and Travel Documents Clients are solely responsible for having valid visa documents for their trips. Passports shall be valid at least 6 months beyond last date of travel. The Company bears no responsibility for absence of such documents or for incorrectly issued documents by consulates, including incorrect entry and exit dates on visas and incorrect number of entries. The Company is not responsible for actions of consulates and border authorities that may prevent Clients from starting or continuing their trips. The Company does not represent the government of Russia or the government of any other country. Insurance The Company recommends all of its Clients to obtain trip insurance for their trips. In event of trip cancellation or interruption, this may be the only source of reimbursement. Baggage The Company is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to your baggage---travel insurance is strongly recommended to protect against loss. Guests are responsible for airline and government-imposed baggage regulations and fees. Exclusions Your arrangements exclude excess baggage charges, items of a personal nature such as laundry, communication expenses, room service, meals not specified in your itinerary, gratuities to guides and drivers, optional sightseeing and other excursions, and any items not listed in your travel documents. LIMITS ON RESPONSIBILITY The Company is a travel agency that makes travel arrangements and does not own or operate any ships, hotels, aircrafts, vehicles, or trains. All services are purchased from carriers and vendors. The Company is not responsible for any injury, loss, death, inconvenience, delay or damage to personal property in connection with the provision of any goods or services whether resulting from but not limited to acts of God or force majeure, illness, disease, acts of war, civil unrest, insurrection or revolt, animals, strikes or other labor activities, criminal or terrorist activities of any kind, overbooking or downgrading of services, food poisoning, mechanical or other failure of aircraft or other means of transportation or for failure of any transportation mechanism to arrive or depart on time. The Company is not responsible for delays, changes or cancellation costs due to incorrect, incomplete or expired traveler documents. It is you responsibility to become acquainted and comply with the rules of railway operator, carriage classes, seating and bedding options. TRAVEL ADVISORIES/WARNINGS It is the responsibility of The Traveler to become informed about the most current travel advisories and warnings by referring to the U. S. State Department's travel website at www.travel.state.gov or by phone at 1-888-407- 4747. In the event of an active State Department Travel Warning against travel to the specific destination location(s) of the trip, should The Traveler still choose to travel, notwithstanding any travel advisory or warning, The Traveler assumes all risk of personal injury, death or property damage that may arise out of the events like those advised or warned against. ACTS OF GOD, STRIKE, OR OTHER Neither The Company nor its partners shall be liable for delay or inability to perform any condition in Itinerary caused by or arising out of strikes, lockout or labor difficulties or shortages whether or not the Carrier is party thereto, or explosion, fire, collision, standing or foundering of the vessel or breakdown or failure of or damage to the vessel or its hull or machinery or fittings howsoever and wheresoever any or the same may arise or be caused, or civil commotion, riot, insurrection, war, government restraint, requisitioning of the vessel, political disturbance, acts or threats of terrorism, inability to secure or failure of supplies including fuel, Acts of God, or other circumstances beyond their control. |
