People`s Artist of the Republic of Northern Ossetia-Alania.
Has received an award from the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation for "Achievement in culture".

Artistic Director of the Mariinsky Academy of Young Singers, General Director of the Rimsky-Korsakov International Competition and the International Lisitsian Competition and Artistic Director of the International Summer Academy in Mikkeli (Finland). Jury member of many international competitions. She has won many prestigious awards and diplomas at international competitions. Larisa Gergieva performs at such world-famous concert venues as the Carnegie Hall, Wigmore Hall and La Scala with well-known Mariinsky Theatre singers including Olga Borodina, Galina Gorchakova, Mikhail Kit and more recently with her students from the Academy, among them Daniil Shtoda, Yekaterina Semenchuk, Irina Mataeva, Vladimir Moroz, Yekaterina Soloveva and Ilya Bannik. She has toured to the USA, Italy, Canada, Argentina, France, Sweden, Iceland, Austria, Switzerland, Portugal, Spain, Japan, China, South Korea, Germany, Brazil and Turkey. She gives master classes in Russia, the UK, the USA, Finland, Italy, France and Japan.

She has recorded nineteen CDs in Great Britain, Germany, the USA and Russia with companies including Philips Classics, EMI and Harmonia Mundi.

She has worked as a coach for many of the world?s most prestigious theatres, such as the Metropolitan Opera, La Scala, Covent Garden, Tokyo Opera, the Theatre du Chatelet, the Salzburg Festival, the Aix-en-Provence Festival and at theatres in San Francisco, Florence, Paris and Bordeaux.
