Dog Sledding and Lake Baikal excursion (9 hours)

After sightseeing around Listvyanka you will have a chance to view an open-air dog cage to see how to harness the dogs. The instructor will tell you about the huskies' character, teach you to hitch up dogs correctly and to drive them. For sure you will get on well with this most devoted and most ancient man's friend. After this preparation, a dog team of Russian racing huskies, brought from Kamchatka peninsula, lead you along the forest trail. Controlling the wooden sledge at sharp turns, enjoying the speed and the breathtaking beauty of the surroundings, you will experience sheer excitement and adrenalin rush and feel unity with nature.
Experienced guide-instructor will escort your trip with a skidoo.
Note: When taking a dog sled ride, there is a possibility to share a lap among tourists, e.g. the lap of 10 km can be started by one tourist and after 5-km ride a shift with another person may be done. In this case, 2-3 tourists can try dog sledding one after another during 10 -15 km ride. It is also possible to arrange a ride longer than 10 km (for one adult 5 km or more)
