Make the most of your time in port and enjoy this All-Highlights Panoramic Berlin tour combined with a visit to Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp Memorial - one of the first in Germany, built just on the northern outskirts of Berlin! A great introduction for first-time visitors who want not to just see the city of Berlin but to pay respect to those who had vanished during the War! See the Reichstag, Checkpoint Charlie, the Berlin Wall, Brandenburg gate and so much more!

09:00 - 09:15 Meet your driver by the ship.
Important: Please note that waiting time for late passengers is maximum 15 minutes.

09:00 - 11:30 After a scenic ride of about 2,5 hours through the idyllic flatlands of North Germany with its hundreds of lakes, you will be met in by Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp Memorial by your group guide who will give you a brief overview of the history and horrifying events which transpired here.
11:30 - 12:30 Quick visit to the Memorial (about 45 min)
12:30 - 13:30 After the tour you will board the coach and drive to the city center of Berlin (about 1 hr). Once we arrive in Berlin you will be able to buy a quick lunch and have a 30 minute break. (not included in the tour price)
13:30 - 18:00 Your Panoramic tour of Berlin (4,5 hrs) will start with the government quarter where you will see the Reichstag, the German Parliament and the Brandenburg Gate.

Along the way you’ll see, among other sites the Berlin Cathedral, the tree-lined “Unter den Linden” boulevardMuseum IslandVictory Columnthe Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church and of course some notorious sights of the Third Reich and Cold War, such as Hermann Göring’s Aviation Ministry and the former site of Hitler’s Bunker. Marvel at Potsdamer Platz, the place where modern architecture and lively metropolitan ambience meet Berlin history.

Take a unique picture of one of the only remaining stretches of the Berlin Wall and walk through former Checkpoint Charlie.

Other highlights of former East Berlin will include the Alexanderplatz Square, Red City Hall and the Humbold University.

Before heading back to Warnemunde and time permitting, the guide may also have time to show you a few sites in the former West Berlin, including the KaDeWe shopping center, Kurfürstendamm, as well as the Bellevue and the Charlottenburg Palaces.

18:00 - 21:00 Say goodbye to your guide and get back on the bus for a 2.5 – 3 hr transfer back to the ship.
21:00 Arrival in Warnemunde , return to the ship 12 hrs after the start of the tour.
