Your personal guide will pick you up at your place of stay and accompany to the Memorial Museum of Cosmonautics. After the museum you will head to VDNKh Park and soak in the atmosphere of the 1930’s U.S.S.R. Constructed in 1935 it is a perfect demonstration of the Soviet architectural style and takes its visitor’s back to the times of Joseph Stalin and Nikita Khrushchev. At VDNKh you will see life-size “Vostok” rocket and Buran Spacecraft (similar to the U.S. Space Shuttle). The tour will provide you with a better understanding of Soviet history with both the origins of the Cold War and Space Race. After the tour, your guide will be happy to accompany you back to your hotel or suggest a good place to eat or get souvenirs.
The largest space museum complex in Russia, The Centre's exposition features more than 120 unique exhibits of aircraft and spacecraft which have never been exhibited in museums before; exhibits of the military-industrial complex enterprises; more than two thousand rare archival documents, photo and video materials. Under the dome of the pavilion, there are game simulators, the Monolith and Cosmic Sphere exposition modules, which is a unique 5D cinema where one can watch the story of the exploration of the Universe, from the Big Bang theory to the prospects of colonizing Mars.
