Concert
Stanislavsky theatre, Moscow

May 23 at the Musical Theater. K.S. Stanislavsky and Vl.I. Nemirovich-Danchenko will host a concert lead soloist of the opera company Dmitry Ulyanov and the symphony orchestra of the theater.
Dmitry Ulyanov today is one of the brightest performers of his generation and one of the most popular basses in European opera houses. As a guest soloist, he performs in such theaters as the Vienna State Opera (General in Prokofiev's Gambler), the Neapolitan Theater of San Carlo (Boris Timofeevich in the Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk district of Shostakovich), the Flemish opera (Daland in The Flying Dutchman Wagner) , The National Opera of the Netherlands (Khan Konchak and Vladimir Galitsky in Prince Igor Borodin, staged by Dmitry Chernyakov), the Real Madrid Theater (Tsar Dodon in Rimsky-Korsakov's The Golden Rooster, staged by Laurent Pelli), regularly sings on the stage of the Bolshoi Theater of Russia. Cooperates with the largest opera festivals - in Aix-en-Provence and Salzburg.
"Dmitry Ulyanov repeated the double of Boris Khristov, performing the games of Khan Konchak and the bingo prince Galitsky, he has a powerful bass and magnificent lower notes." (portal Bachtrack.com about "Prince Igor" Borodin staged by Dmitry Chernyakov on the stage of the National Opera of the Netherlands)
"Dmitry Ulyanov made a great impression in Konchak's party, but he eclipsed himself as the brother of Igor, Prince of Galich. Ulyanov possesses a texture that suits his voice, powerful and powerful." He created the image of an "alpha male", full of contempt for anyone who gets in his way, including Yaroslavna, and deservedly met with an enthusiastic reception. " (the publication Place de l'Opera about "Prince Igor" Borodin staged by Dmitry Chernyakov on the stage of the National Opera of the Netherlands)
"In the performance of Dmitry Ulyanov, old Izmailov becomes the evil genius of the place ..." D. Ulyanov uses his rich vocal-dramatic arsenal to create an image of totalitarian insatiability and animal infernality. It is no wonder that this work won the stiff Salzburg audience: the singer's success was deafening ". (portal Belcanto.ru about "Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk district" Shostakovich at the Salzburg festival)
Soloist of the opera troupe of the Musical Theater. KS Stanislavsky and Vl. I. Nemirovich-Danchenko since 2000. On the stage of this theater he performed the roles of Kutuzov (War and Peace of Prokofiev), Don Giovanni (Mozart's Don Giovanni), Lindorf-Coppelius-Dapertutto-Miracle (Hoffman's Tales of Offenbach), Gremin (Tchaikovsky's Eugene Onegin) , Ramfis ("Aida" Verdi), Gudal ("Demon" Rubinstein). The last major work of Dmitry Ulyanov was the party of Prince Ivan Khovansky (Khovanshchina Mussorgsky), for which he received the Russian opera award Casta Diva.

Twice nominated for the National Theater Award "Golden Mask" in the nomination "Best Actor in the Opera" for the role of Kutuzov ("War and Peace" Prokofiev, 2013) and Ivan Khovansky (Khovanshchina Mussorgsky, 2016). Critics wrote:
"... Dmitri Ulyanov, a singer with irresistible charisma, a magnificent voice and an extraordinary dramatic talent, sang Ivan Khovansky's part: Ulyanov saw and played Khovansky as a figure comparable in power to the figure of Peter the Great ..." (Larisa Kirillina, Musical Life)
"Ulyanov reigns over everyone in Ivan Khovansky's party, turning his freedom and power into a hero whom you do not want to have, but you have to sympathize ...". (Ekaterina Biryukova, Colta.ru)
