May 23 at the Musical Theater. K.S. Stanislavsky and Vl.I. Nemirovich-Danchenko will host a concert lead soloist of the opera company Dmitry Ulyanov and the symphony orchestra of the theater.
Dmitry Ulyanov today is one of the brightest performers of his generation and one of the most popular basses in European opera houses. As a guest soloist, he performs in such theaters as the Vienna State Opera (General in Prokofiev's Gambler), the Neapolitan Theater of San Carlo (Boris Timofeevich in the Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk district of Shostakovich), the Flemish opera (Daland in The Flying Dutchman Wagner) , The National Opera of the Netherlands (Khan Konchak and Vladimir Galitsky in Prince Igor Borodin, staged by Dmitry Chernyakov), the Real Madrid Theater (Tsar Dodon in Rimsky-Korsakov's The Golden Rooster, staged by Laurent Pelli), regularly sings on the stage of the Bolshoi Theater of Russia. Cooperates with the largest opera festivals - in Aix-en-Provence and Salzburg.

Soloist of the opera troupe of the Musical Theater. KS Stanislavsky and Vl. I. Nemirovich-Danchenko since 2000. On the stage of this theater he performed the roles of Kutuzov (War and Peace of Prokofiev), Don Giovanni (Mozart's Don Giovanni), Lindorf-Coppelius-Dapertutto-Miracle (Hoffman's Tales of Offenbach), Gremin (Tchaikovsky's Eugene Onegin) , Ramfis ("Aida" Verdi), Gudal ("Demon" Rubinstein). The last major work of Dmitry Ulyanov was the party of Prince Ivan Khovansky (Khovanshchina Mussorgsky), for which he received the Russian opera award Casta Diva.

Twice nominated for the National Theater Award "Golden Mask" in the nomination "Best Actor in the Opera" for the role of Kutuzov ("War and Peace" Prokofiev, 2013) and Ivan Khovansky (Khovanshchina Mussorgsky, 2016). Critics wrote:
