Meeting up at the airport by a guide.

First Truck Drivers Stella with the Mirny city entrance sign.
The “Vilyuysky Ring” Architectural Memorial Complex with the statue to the reindeer herder who showed the diamond-rich place to Russian geologists.

Holy Trinity Orthodox Church with Gymnasium.
Regional Museum of Diamond Mining History owned by ALROSA.
Kimberlite Museum.
Yakutia Live Diamonds Nature Park.

Please, note that if your arrival from Irkutsk/Novosibirsk to Mirny happens in the evening, we recommend to stay for the second night and dedicate the whole second day to Mirny to see everything according to our venue visit plan.

The park presents Siberian resident wildlife. A distinctive feature of these "diamonds" is thick wool, which allows them to survive the Yakut winter frosts. For example, this is an aboriginal Yakut horse, which was bred by the method of folk selection under the influence of natural selection. Read more
The exposition of the museum is devoted to the history of the creation and formation of the diamond mining industry, as well as the local history of Yakutia. The main task is to preserve the historical memory of the Diamond Province. Read more
In the heart of the diamond capital, Mirny, is the Holy Trinity Church. Its building is executed with full observance of traditions of Russian orthodox architecture. Light ceremonial walls, golden domes against the sky blue sky, belfry with bells. Read more
The world's largest diamond quarry, the kimberlite pipe "Mir", was created by the hands of a man in the permafrost realm at Mirny, the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). Above the man-made crater is strictly forbidden the flight of aircraft: a giant funnel with a diameter of 1,200 meters and a depth of 525 meters, initiating downward air flows, sucks helicopters. Read more
The memorial complex "Vilyui Circle" includes a bas-relief "Past, Present and Future of the Diamond Territory" in a single ensemble. Also here is the sculptural group "Kauryur and geologists" and the stele "Yakutia-mother". Read more
Museum of kimberlite of AK "ALROSA" was created by the engineer-geophysicist D.I. Savrasov. The museum was organized in 1974 at the Botuobuyin geological exploration expedition. Glass showcases and displays are located on five levels with a good degree of review. A total of about 120,000 exhibits are displayed on 120 storefronts. Read more
