This excursion includes the major city attractions including the Border of Europe and Asia. You will have an opportunity to step by one leg in Europe, by another - in Asia.During the tour you will learn why the Ural mountains became the border between the two parts of the world.

It is the historical sightseeing tour concerning the Romanov dynasty, the tragical death of the last Russian Tzar. You will visit the places of execution and burial of the royal family. First you will visit Church-on-the-Blood built on the very place of Romanov’s assassination. In the museum located right next to the Church you will be able to plunge into the life of Romanov family by watching photos and learning the documents.

After that you will visit the Monastery Ganina Yama in a picturesque wood - Holy burial place & seven nice churches made of wood according to Russian Orthodox tradition. This Monastery was built on the place where the bodies of the Romanov family were burned.

Day 1: ON A BRIEF RENDEZVOUS

You’ll visit Cathedral on the Blood, Ascension Hill with all its churches and architectural monuments and Kharitonov Manor House. Than you’ll go through Literary Quarter of Ekaterinburg city and find yourself in the city’s Dam on the bank of Iset River. Drama Theater, Governor’s Residence, Sevastyanov Estate, monument to the Founders of Ekaterinburg, the Coin Yard, Saint Ekaterina Cathedral – whatever else you are welcome to see! You’ll have a look at the shortest metro in the world; find the City Hall, Lenin monument, pedestrian Vainera street with lots of shops and old-styled buildings. You can’t miss the opportunity to see Ekaterinburg’s Circus with its unique Dome and the city’s Arboretum. (guiding, transport, 3 hours)

Day 2: MYSTERIES OF THE LAST ROMANOVS` FAMILY

12 km from Ekaterinburg. You’ll see Ascension Hill and visit the ex-site of Ipatyev’s House (a place of Romanovs’ imprisonment and brutal murder) and Cathedral on the Blood. After that you’ll have a trip to the monastery of Holy Majestic Martyrs at Ganya’s Pit - a place where Romanovs` bodies were supposedly burnt. (guiding, transport, 3,5 hours)

Day 3: EUROPE AND ASIA BORDER

40 km from Ekaterinburg. You are welcome to see Memorial to Stalin Repressions Victims first. Then you’ll go to the border between Europe and Asia (17 kilometers far from the city), you’ll see Europe and Asia monument, go through Novoalekseevka village along Transsiberian way and see old Europe and Asia monument and time capsule. For extra price: buffet lunch and photo shoot on the border. (guiding, transport, 2,5 hours)
