Ekaterinburg’s Circus

Yekaterinburg Circus is a circus building for 2600 spectators in Yekaterinburg. Yeaterinburg circus has a lattice steel dome with a distinctive shape, which makes one of the Yekaterinburg's landmarks. The circus was built in 1980 on the right bank of Iset river.
The circus building is situated in the central part of the city, at crossing of 8 Marta street and Kuybysheva street next to Geologicheskaya metro station.

The circus is one of the best circuses of Russia; stationary circus in the central part of Yekaterinburg along the western bank of the Iset. Its capacity is more than 2500 seats. The building of this circus is considered to be one of the most durable constructions in Europe, and most importantly it has a completely atypical trellis dome for circuses. Another feature that distinguishes it from other circuses is the interior of the Ural stone.
The Yekaterinburg circus often hosts guest performers, and also devises new programs for performances. In it, two arenas - the main and rehearsal. Thanks to the high dome in the arena excellent acoustics. Since 1996, it regularly hosts international festivals of circus art. From year to year the repertoire of performances increases, and programs are getting better.
Often on the arena of this circus there are performances and concerts with the participation of famous "stars". By the way, on the basis of the circus there is a children's studio "Harlequin" pop-circus. You can get to the destination by metro, the next one to the station "Geologicheskaya".
