Ulanovo station on the Baikal railway, after this section of the road became a dead-end, was liquidated in 1962. Now only a stone water-lifting building with a pipe and the foundations of destroyed buildings, including a water reservoir, remained on this site. At the present time the hostel of the East-Siberian Railway "Coniferous" is located here. Next to the base is a clean small-gravel beach.
