Presidential Palace

For the long time the office of Estonian president was located in the Kadriorg palace. Later the special building was constructed next door to Kadriorg, repeating the design of the old palace.

Echoing the style of Kadriorg Palace, this grand building was purpose-built in 1938 to serve as the official residence of the Estonian president – a role it once again fulfills.

Since the building once again serves as the President's office and residence, it's closed to visitors, but you can still wander into the parking area for a better view and, if your timing is lucky, you'll see the honour guards marching out front.
