The Church of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God is the youngest of the pre-revolutionary churches of Perm. It was built in the beginning of the XX century, as a chapel of the Uspensky monastery. The construction was started in 1905 and completed in 1908. The Kazan church is one of the most striking examples of the Neo-Russian style in the Kama region and strangely enough - the only characteristic pattern in Perm.
